Graduated in graphic arts and photography; From an early age, her passion for gastronomy made her head towards the Kitchen.
In her work, she preserves the authenticity, seasonality and characteristics of Portuguese cuisine, sometimes with a personal touch of innovation.
Self-taught, she maintains an intrinsic relationship with Trás-os-Montes and with the ways and customs of her roots, and it is where she investigates the ancestral Trás-os-Montes recipes; mostly linked to traditions of popular festivals, country foods and specific rituals of that region.
She heads the kitchen of the Stramuntana project (Transmontana in the Mirandese language).
