In a privileged location in one of the most majestic valleys of the Tua River, in the Douro Superior, it is located in Quinta do Carvalhido, owned by Pedro Drummond Borges. The family business is run by him and his son, Tiago Drummond Borges. Producers whose history began in the 18th century, but who dedicated themselves to small productions limited to family and friends until they became known by consumers of Portuguese wines.

Since 2017, the Quinta do Carvalhido brand has had its harvests bottled and, for this, it has the support of highly regarded professionals to offer a portfolio with two pomaces: Quinta do Carvalhido and Carvalhido, where we can find two red wines, two white wines and a rosé. All of them with their own identity, conferred by a combination of differentiating factors, such as the shale soil and the mix of new and old vines.
