NUNO CASTRO

Nuno Castro is a businessman and executive chef at Grupo do Avesso.

He decided to switch back to studying Economics to take up cooking, revealing himself to be one of the greatest gastronomic talents in the country.

He started at Sheraton spinning plates, but soon realized that it would be in the United Kingdom where he should begin his studies and the travels that would later inspire him. After several stints at iconic restaurants in the city of Porto, it is at Fava Tonka that he now applies his skill set, managing and operating the gastronomic part of the restaurant.
